Tsehai Loves Learning

Following my graduation from American University, I chose to try my hand at expat life and found work abroad at Whiz Kids Workshop in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. There, I worked as a production coordinator and video editor on the internationally renowned children’s show Tsehai Loves Learning. In addition to navigating the challenges of adapting to life in another culture, I successfully helped organize and manage the work of the post production team, completed the final edits on all 39 episodes of the health education focused season of the show, and wrote grant proposals and progress updates for key stakeholders including USAID. In addition, I wrote, directed, and edited a televised advertisement for Tsehai Loves Learning books and collaborated on three songs that appeared in the “Let’s Exercise!” episode. Below, I’ve linked the reel I edited of highlights from the season I worked on, the advertisement I worked on, the episode I worked on featuring the songs I co-wrote, another full episode of the show, and I reel I edited of the celebrity guest “Message of the Day” segment of the show.
